The app is meant to be used during the clinical trials of the novel CoolHead device for migraine patients. It has two key features to support the participants during clinical trials:
How might we design a migraine-friendly application to help BrainCool collecting insights and data to develop better products in the future?
Being able to dive into patients mind, in this case migrainers, was a must-do to begin the project with. The usability research enabled the Pilotfish team to explore both the difficulties of using the CoolHead device and the challenge of developing an app that clearly elaborates on its use.

After week of investigation we started to act, observe and ask both medical experts to understand the use of the RhinoChill product as it is right now and potential migraine patients in order to better understand their struggles, frustrations and needs.

Our personas, based on our user interviews insights, helped us and our client to easier empathise with migraine patients, develop their customer journey and collect the final app requirements.
